The history of Girona, "Temps de Flors" is also a story of young entrepreneurs over 60 years ago who decided to organize a first edition of what they called the "Provincial Flower Exhibition Competition" in the Lounge of the Municipal Theater of the city.

The good response and the interest of the people who visited this space in 1954, pushed them to go ahead with an event that has become the great international festival of Girona, an activity that attracts people from all over the world, which has been growing every year year after year, both in the space that hosted it and because of the involvement of the City Council, citizens and the social fabric of the city. And Girona is wrapped up with activities around it, filling it with perfume and color.
