Halloween/Castanyada
The "Castanyada" is a popular festival, especially in Catalonia, that celebrates "All Saints' Day" (although in the past it was celebrated as the beginning of autumn) to symbolically remember their departed, roasting chestnuts and sweet potatoes while praying for their souls. Those who have come from abroad who study Catalan or Spanish are taught this local tradition, and those who study Anglo-Saxon languages are taught how to celebrate this festival in these lands. This is how culture and language come together.
